Australis Newsletter

AustralisWelcome to another issue of Australis’ newsletter ๐Ÿ™‚

We are happy to share our latest news with you, and thank you for your constant support and friendship. It all makes sense thanks to you.
Now, the news!

Would you like to help us findย a title for our newest track?

Our new, almost-finished track has reached the point when we need to start thinking on a suitable title for it. This time, however, we want to do something different and ask our audience for suggestions.
The track is not finished yet, but the guys at the studio have put together a decent sample for everybody to get the track’s “vibe” and trigger your inspiration mechanisms ๐Ÿ™‚

The track sample is available atย, along with all the details.
If you have ideas for the track’s title, you can submit them via email, via our Facebook wall, or even via our guestbook.
If your suggestion results in the track’s final title, your name will appear in the album’s printed art and you’ll receive a free copy of the album itself! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Latest News from Australis

AustralisJan. 13th, 2012

Dear friends,

It’s been a long while since we sent the last newsletter last year. It was a year of experimentation with social networks and many things changed. We cancelled our membership on MySpace; we created a page on Google+; we enhanced our Facebook page with custom programmed applications (that are currently pending upgrade), etc, etc. Finally, as last year approached its end, things started to settle down in a better flow and now we have a better handle on all those tools and we can resume our monthly newsletters.

So, without further delay, here are our news! ๐Ÿ™‚

New website (and domain)

We finally acquired the domain we wanted from the beginning back in 2004. It was a long wait but it finally became available. Although the new domain ( is now Australis’ official domain name; the old domain ( will remain valid, so you don’t need to update your bookmarks.

To celebrate our new official domain, we decided to completely revamp our website to make it faster, more structured and easier to navigate. The new website was launched on Jan. 1st and we want to kindly invite you to visit it.

By the way, the new Subscribers section provides you with a better system to download our music and our albums’ covers. Free, as always. Give it a try ๐Ÿ™‚

Preparing a FREE Digital Sampler

As part of the preparations for our upcoming (fourth) album, we are in the process of compiling a digital sampler for free download.

This is the idea: Two tracks from each one of our three existing releases, plus two tracks from our upcoming album, will be selected to be included in the sampler. It will contain eight tracks, including two never previously released ones; in high quality MP3 format and including a custom cover in graphic format. This digital sampler of our music will be a nice introduction to our music to people who have never heard us before, and also a unique item for our fans, friends and listeners.

We are currently in the process of selecting two tracks from our first release, “Lifegiving”. It is not an easy task and we would love your help in deciding. You are cordially invited to visit “Lifegiving” on our website and send us your picks of two tracks for the sampler, via email or by leaving a comment on our Facebook page.

We deeply appreciate this opportunity to communicate directly with you. Just a few years ago artists could only communicate with their fans and audiences during concerts or TV/Radio appearances. News and updates came to the fans only through middle-men and intermediaries like magazines, advertisement, etc. Being able to talk with you directly and without any obstacles is something we value very much.

Thank you for your continuous support and friendship ๐Ÿ™‚

Latest News from Australis

Dear friends,

Wishing for clear skies over your path, we are pleased to send you our May newsletter and share our news with you.

On a first note, it is our pleasure to announce the completion of a brand new track for our upcoming release.
“Outposts of certainty”, the new material, is a return to those endless territories where the unknown is always calling us from the horizon; a return to those expanses we all have to cross alone every so often as life presents us with unforeseen situations and challenges. Faith and determination are usually our only luggage during those personal journeys as we endure doubts, loneliness and even pain.
An interesting phenomenon about these soul trips is the fact that, no matter how restricting or limiting our situations may be, inside our hearts the distances are always immesurable. “Outpost of certainty” attempts to acoustically describe these distances and paint them with the many (and some times incongruent) emotions we experience during these individual expeditions to our own intimate awakenings.
You are kindly invited to hear this new track at the Subscribers section of our website.

Finally, remember that you can keep updated on our “behind scenes” activities through our pages on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
Feel more than welcome to drop by and say hello ๐Ÿ™‚

Please receive our gratitude for your constant support and your invaluable friendship.
May your paths be fruitful.
